2024 CAF awards: Super Falcons named Women National Team Of The Year
The Confederation of African Football (CAF), at this year’s awards ceremony currently held in Marrakech, Morocco, named Super Falcons of Nigeria as the women’s national team of the year.
The Super Falcons were crowned champions ahead of Banyana Banyana of South Africa and Atlas Lionesses of Morocco, who were the other teams in contention for the Women’s National Team of the Year.
The President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, who received the award, dedicated it to Nigeria’s First Lady Oluremi Tinubu for supporting women’s football.
