2023: I won’t govern Nigeria from Dubai – Tinubu tackles Atiku

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, has made fun of the presidential flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, as the 2023 presidential election moves closer.

The Apc chieftain revealed that unlike his counterpart in the main opposition party, he would not become a part-time President who will divide his time between residing in Dubai and Nigeria.

He made this revelation while having meeting with members of the Tijaniyya sect in Kano yesterday.

This was revealed via a statement made available by his Media Aide, Tunde Rahman.

The former governor of Lagos State has made a promise to concentrate on combat against challenges facing Nigeria.

Tinubu said: “I promise to devote 100% of my time and energy to serving Nigeria.

“You will have it better with me, not 50% in Dubai in the United Arab Emirate, 50% in Nigeria.”

He further revealed most significant parts of his agenda as improvement of security, electricity, provision of dams, agriculture, and provision of sound education.

In the meeting, Sheikh Bashir Tijjani Usman Zangon, who led members of the Tijaniyya sect, made a presentation of a long list of issues the sect desires from the APC Presidential chieftain when he becomes president.
