World Cup Round 16: Senegal to face England as US takes on Netherlands

England and US are now through to the next round of the World after both countries emerged the winner and runner-up of the group B at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

While the Three Lions thumped their arch rival Wales 3-0 to seal the top spot in the group and finished with Seven points, the Americans saw off a tough battle against Iran with Pulisic’s first half strike separating the both sides at the end of the day.

Earlier in the day, Netherlands and Senegal have both emerged from group A for the knockout rounds after winning their respective matches against Qatar and Ecuador respectively.

That the attention has now shifted to the round of 16, it’s going to be another round of grimming encounters when England face Senegal in five days and USA also takes on Netherlands next week Thursday.

While the first match will take place at Al-Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, the US and Netherlands game will hold at Khalifa International Stadium
