Woman found dead inside well in Kwara
A middle-aged woman, Fatimoh Ranti, has been found dead inside a well in Ilorin, the state capital.
The State Fire Service officials who retrieved the corpse of the woman from a well could not ascertain how the woman got into the well.
Spokesperson of the service Hassan Adekunle said that “just early this morning 3rd October 2021 the Kwara State Fire Service was quickly summoned for one rescue operation at 185, Asunara Ile Kola Compound, off Balogun Fulani Road Ilorin.
“Indeed, the victim woman was recovered dead from the domestic well by the firemen.
“Alhaji Asunara, the head of the compound who the victim was handed over to, told the fire team that the incident happened on Saturday night but only to be detected this morning.”
Adekunle urged “everyone to be more vigilant in his neighborhoods in order to prevent similar occurrences.”
