Wives of road safety officers’ donate items to accident victims in Jos

The wives of road safety officers under the aegis of the Road Safety Officers’ Wives Association (ROSOWA), Plateau Chapter has made donations of some items to victims of road accidents in Jos.

The Public Education Officer of the Corps in Plateau State, Mr Peter Longsan, made this revelation in a statement made available in Jos.

Longsan revealed that the action of the wives of the officers of the corps was a portion of the activities ear’already planned in commentation of the Road Traffic Crash Victims Remembrance Week and the 2022 Africa Road Safety Day.

He explained further that the association members paid a visit to the victims at the Our Lady of Apostles hospital and made donations of the items to them.

Mrs Foghotnan Makah, who headed the team of women remarked that the action was to acknowledge the victims of road accidents and give them motivation and encouragement in their trying times.

The Informant247 gathered that the that items that were donated included bathing and washing soaps, body cream, toilet papers, detergent, among other materials.

The organization of wives of the officers of the corps also made donations of cotton wool, disinfectants, mopping sticks, disposable gloves, and buckets to the authority of the hospital.
