We sacked Naja’atu, she didn’t resign — Tinubu
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, has said that his former campaign’s Director of Civil Society Organisations, Naja’atu Mohammed was sacked from her position.
The presidential candidate said the female politician was dismissed over incompetence in his campaign team.
The presidential candidate said her claim that she resigned from the campaign team was a lie.
The adviser of the campaign on public affairs, Mahmud Jega, said the female politician was a machinery used by the opposition to get sensitive information about the party.
The statement released by Jega partly reads: “The Asiwaju/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council received with amusement the hasty “resignation” of Hajiya Naja’atu Mohammed from her position as Director of Civil Society Organisations just before she was sacked for incompetence, quarrelsomeness and after being uncovered to be a mole planted in our winning campaign in order to leak sensitive information to our desperate opponents.
“Although she deceived the gullible public by claiming that she resigned, her sack letter with ignominy from the campaign and the party had just arrived at her desk.”
Tinubu also said her utterances, and comportment after she was dismissed shows that she’s “unfit to serve in the first place until it was discovered that she was a mole.”
The Informant247 recalls that Mohammed had claimed that she resigned her appointment from the presidential campaign team due to the alleged ill health of the presidential candidate.
