U20WC: Flying Eagles to face Argentina in round of 16
Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will face Argentina in their round of 16 clash at the on-going FIFA U20 World Cup.
Recall that the Flying Eagles lost their last group stage match to Brazil 2-0 and eventually conceded their top position in group D to the Brazilian team who also has Six points like the Nigerian team although with goal difference .
Lucky for them, the Coach Ladan Bosso boys were handed an opportunity as one of the best losers.
However, they now have a high mountain to climb as they have now been drawn against the hosts, Argentina for the round of 16 game.
Historically, Argentina are the most successful nation in FIFA U-20 World Cup history with six titles to their name and this is Argentina’s 17th participation in the Under 20 World Cup.
The round of 16 match be held on Wednesday .
