Transfer: Ademola Lookman agrees personal terms with PSG

Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Atalanta attacker Ademola Lookman has agreed personal terms with French Ligue One champions Paris St German.

Lookman played a pivotal role in Atalanta’s Europa League triumph last season by scoring a hat-trick in the final against Bayer Leverkusen.

Amid the transfer talks, the forward reportedly asked to be excused from the squad for Monday’s Serie A clash against Lecce, a move which signals his decision to leave the club.

According to reports, the former Everton forward will earn around €5 million as an annual salary at PSG while the club will also have to negotiate an agreement on a transfer fee with Atalanta.

Meanwhile, Atalanta have informed Paris Saint-Germain that they must pay at least €40m to secure the services of Nigerian forward.

It would be recalled that the French giant had also made the African best player and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen their priority.

While personal terms was said to have been reached between both parties, club negotiations seems to be holding back his move, thus leaving room for doubts and increased interest from other suitors like Chelsea and Arsenal
