Tinubu names Maj. Gen. Oluyede as acting chief of staff amid Lagbaja’s absence
Nigerian President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Major General Olufemi Olatubosun Oluyede as acting Chief of Army Staff.
The appointment of the acting COAS was made following the prolonged absence of General Tahoreed Lagbaja, Chief of Army Staff, who has been away from the country for a while.
Lagbaja is said to be battling an unknown ailment in the United States of America.
