They’re after my life because I rejected bag of money – Apostle Suleman
Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, OFM, has revealed the reasons assassins were after his life.
Suleman has said blamed the assassination on some ministers who have not been comfortable with the manners he has been condemning killings in Nigeria.
He said the ministers who had also offered him a bag of money, to stop condemning killings in the country are after him.
While speaking to his members, the clergyman revealed that the ministers had vowed to pursue his life for refusing their offer.
Apostle Suleman said: “Some ministers called me to Abuja after I spoke against the killings on a national scale, and they sat me down, threw a bag of money, and they said to me, take this and shut up.
“They threw out an AK-47, they threw out a newspaper, and they said take the money or you go by these two.
“I told them that I did not understand what they meant. They said if I did not do that, they would make sure that in this country, I don’t hold the microphone again.
“I said to them, I never knew what I said was actually a big deal; now I want to start talking. I said if you wanted to come for me, please you were very free to bother yourselves, because I would keep talking, and I kept on speaking.”
The Informant247 recalls that Apostle Suleman was, a few days ago, attacked by some unknown gunmen in Auchi area of Edo State.
The gunmen took the lives of no fewer than seven persons, including three policemen during the incident.
While speaking on the incident, Suleman said he recognized those who attacked his life but would not reveal their identities.
Suleman also falsified the claims on social media that he used the deceased victims for ritual.
