Teacher arrested for defiling 12 years old in Ilorin

One Ahmed Yusuf, a 32 years old teacher, living at Gaa-Odota in Ilorin, is presently cooling his heels at the Adewole Police Station for defiling a 12 years old girl, (name withheld).
Yusuf was said to have raped the innocent girl several times before he was caught and arrested.
Our correspondent gathered that Yusuf is a neighbour to the victim, the development that gave him the edge to forcefully had canal knowledge of the girl severally.
Yusuf was said to always threaten the girl that if she tells anyone, she will die.
It was further gathered that Yusuf’s mother has been making frantic effort to get the victim’s family to withdraw the case.
Meanwhile, the matter is said to have got to the knowledge of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), who promised to pursue justice over the matter.
