Suspected thugs set court building on fire in Ebonyi

Some suspected political thugs on Tuesday evening stormed a state High Court in Owutu-Edda, Afikpo South Local Government Area of Ebonyi and set it on fire.

The sad development was confirmed to newsmen by the Registrar of the court, Mrs Oluchi Uduma on Tuesday.

She narrated that the hoodlums stormed the court on Tuesday and set it on fire.

She added that the suspected thugs burned the building of the court, documents and other valuable property.

While reacting to the sad scenario, the Chairman of Afikpo South Local Government Area, Mr Chima Nkama said the matter has been reported to the police.
