Super Eagles touch down Kigali ahead of Zimbabwe clash

The Nigeria Super Eagles have arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, on Saturday, for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against the Warriors of Zimbabwe on Sunday.

Recall that the delegation of players and officials of the team travelled to Rwanda aboard a chartered aircraft that departed from the Victor Attah International Airport,Uyo on Friday night.

The match will be held at the 20,000-capacity Huye Stadium, some two hours from Kigali.

The Eagles started their world cup qualifying series with a 1-1 draw with Lesotho’s Crocodiles in Uyo on Thursday evening.

They go into the game on Sunday with the hope of revival as they in their continue their pursuits for the mundial ticket.
