Alore, Ita-Amodu fire victims receive N2M, food items from Senator Mustapha

Victims of recent fire incidents in the Alore and Ita-Amodu areas of Ilorin, Kwara State, have expressed gratitude to Senator Saliu Mustapha for his swift intervention and support.

The lawmaker representing Kwara Central Senatorial District donated N2 million and essential food items to ease their plight.

In a statement issued on Sunday by the Senator’s media assistant, Nasif Sholagberu, it was revealed that Senator Mustapha provided food items, including rice, garri, beans, palm oil, and groundnut oil, alongside N1 million each for the victims in the Alore and Ita-Amodu communities.

While presenting the donations on the Senator’s behalf, Alhaji Shuaib Ambali explained that the relief materials were meant to mitigate the challenges faced by the victims.

He added that Senator Mustapha remains committed to supporting those affected by the disaster and alleviating their suffering.

Engr. Mashood Saayi, speaking on behalf of the Alaparun family in Alore, commended the Senator for his prompt response and kindness.

“We are truly thankful to Senator Saliu Mustapha for his kind gesture. It means a lot to us and shows his genuine concern for our well-being. We appreciate his continuous support and pray for God’s blessings upon him.”

Similarly, Alhaji Musa Bilewu, the Mogaji of Ile Bilewu in Ita-Amodu, lauded Senator Mustapha’s consistent commitment to the welfare of his constituents.

He described him as a distinguished public servant who has always prioritised the needs of the people, even before assuming office.

“We pray to Almighty Allah to bless Senator Mustapha with good health, wisdom, and continued success in all his endeavours,” Bilewu added.
