Ronaldo sets new target after winning player of the month award
Cristiano Ronaldo has promised that his Player of the Month Award in the Saudi Pro League will be “the first of many” he would win at the league.
The five time Ballon D’or winner was voted the player of the month of February in the Saudi Arabia top flight side.
In the month under review, he scored two hat-tricks and totalled eight goals in four appearances for Al Nassr FC.
He was presented with the award ahead of the Ahead of Al Nassr’s 3-1 win against Al Batin on Friday.
“Happy to win the February Player of the Month Award for the Saudi League,” he wrote. “Hopefully the first of many! Proud to be part of this team” he said in an Instagram post.
