Premier League club with five Nigerian players relegated
English Premier League club, Watford, has been relegated to the Championship on Saturday, following its fall to Crystal Palace.
The vice captain of Super Eagles, William Troost Ekong alongside four other Nigerian players – Samuel Kalu, Maduka Okoye, Bonaventure Dennis and Oghenekaro Etebo – all are in the English football team.
Watford that needed one win to maintain their status quo in the English premier league got disappointed by Wilfried Zaha’s first-half penalty which sabotaged their hopes.
