PHOTOS: Offa elders settle Saheed Popoola, Femi Whyte feud
Prominent Offa stakeholders comprising, traditional and religious leaders, have settled the rift between a member of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Saheed Popoola and the Kwara State Commissioner for Enterprise, Femi Agbaje Whyte.
According to sources who spoke to THE INFORMANT247, both parties, who are strong politicians from Offa, had agreed to sheathe their swords.
The meeting is said to have been convened at the instance of the Olofa of Offa.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed and the Kwara State Governor have been engrossed in a fight for the control of the soul of the party in the state.
Popoola is a staunched loyalist of the Minister, while Femi Whyte is an appointee of the governor.
