Patigi Bye-Elction: Kwara INEC receives sensitive materials

The Resident Electoral Commissioner in Kwara State, Malam Garba Attahiru-Madami, says the commission has taken delivery of all sensitive materials for Saturday’s Patigi state constituency bye-election.

Attahiru-Madami, during the signing of Peace Accord by the 6 contesting political parties on Tuesday in Ilorin, said that all the sensitive materials were in the custody of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

He assured the political parties of a level playing field.

He said, “We really have nothing to hide,our concern is to have a more credible election,even better than 2019 elections.”

Meanwhile, the state Commissioner of Police speaking on behalf of the security agencies emphasized on the need for the political parties to conduct themselves peacefully and announced that their would be restriction of vehicular and motorcycle movement on the day of the Bye-Election at Patigi Local Government.
