Oyabambi hails Fagbemi’s appointment as Attorney-General, describes it as ’round peg in the right hole’
A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain in Kwara State, Otunba Adetunji Oyabambi, has hailed President Bola Tinubu for naming Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, as the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice.
In a statement issued on Monday, Oyabambi described the appointment as the right peg in the right hole.
He highlighted that the decision to tap into the legal expertise of Prince Lateef Fagbemi is a fitting selection for the crucial role, emphasizing that “Fagbemi’s extensive experience and sterling reputation in the legal field make him the ideal candidate for this significant position”.
“The appointment of Prince Lateef Fagbemi, a seasoned Senior Advocate of Nigeria, as the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, demonstrates President Tinubu’s commitment to ensuring the highest standards of legal representation and upholding the rule of law,” Oyabambi remarked in his statement.
The PDP Chieftain further lauded the move as an indication of President Tinubu’s commitment to assembling a competent and well-rounded team.
Oyabambi expressed optimism that Fagbemi’s legal acumen and dedication to justice will undoubtedly contribute to the effective administration of law in our country.
