Osimhen the hero as Napoli wins first Serie A title in 33 years
Victor Osimhen will be remembered as the hero of Napoli as the Club seals the Serie A title after playing out a 1-1 draw with Udinese on Thursday night.
Osimhen scored in the 53rd minute to cap up his memorable season for the Partenopei in style and more importantly securing the title.
More historical for Osimhen, scoring 22 goals has now seen him equalling former World Best player and Current President of Liberia, George Weah and breaking Samuel Eto’s goal record in the Serie A.
It was all joy and excitement for Napoli fans who have had to wait for 33 years to clinch the Scudetto for the third time in club history.
