Okada Riders Association Organises Sensitization Seminar For Members

Nupe Okada Riders Association of Nigeria (NORAN) on Thursday, 19th December, 2109 held its annual seminar to enlighten and sensitise members.

Dignitaries who graced the programme are the Executive Governor of Kwara state, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq ably represented by Alhaji Ndanusa Usman Shehu; CEO of Kwara State Road and Transport Maintenance Agency (KWARTMA), Alhaji Yekini Bello.

Also in attendance are the Emir of Songa represented by Alhaji Baba Ndaman, Comrade Jerry Kolo, Barrister Tete (association legal adviser), representatives from Honda, Perfect and other stakeholders.

During his speech delivery, Mr. Bello enlightened riders on need to keep their motorcycles in good condition at all time.

While speaking at the event, the Chairman of KW-IRS represented by Mrs Bolanle Awogun, applauded NORAN members for their timely revenue payments and charged them to do more.

In the same vein, Alhaji Ndanusa charged NORAN members on the need to be responsible and good road users. He promised the government of the state will also take responsibility on her citizens.

Alhaji Abubakar Ndankin who was represented by Alhaji Usman B. Aliyu (Ndawanchin) stretched his hand of worth on the association and donated a sum of hundred thousand naira to the development of the Association. Also, Mr. Oluwanishola, CEO Oluwanishola spare parts funded the association with a sum of hundred thousand naira as a way of appreciating members of the association patronage of his business.
