Obi’s supporter tears Nigerian passport over election results

A Nigerian youth has torn his international passport while expressing disappointment at the results of the February 25 presidential election.

The man whose name was not revealed said he backed and voted the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, in the election

He said the country has “failed”, as he was tearing his international passport into pieces.

He renounced his citizenship and said he would not involve himself in anything that has to do with the country.

The Informant247 recalls that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced Tinubu as the winner of the presidential election.

According to INEC, Tinubu came victorious with 8.8 million votes.

The presidential candidate of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar came second with 6.9 million votes, while Peter Obi, had 6.1 million votes.
