NPFL: Kwara United shifts attention to Lobi Stars’ game after draw with Akwa United

Kwara United will on Sunday play host to Lobi Stars of Makurdi in matchday 11 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The harmony boys played out a 1-1 draw against the league champions Akwa United on Wednesday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

It was their second away best result for Coach Abdullahi Biffo led side in the new season after their 1-1 draw against Abia Warriors on matchday 4.

Kwara United will hope to continue their perfect home run of wins against the visitors on Sunday while they exude the same level of confidence they are known of in the presence of their fans.

According to www.fctables.com, in their last 19 meetings,
“Kwara United won 6 direct matches. Lobi Stars won 9 matches. 4 matches ended in a draw. On average in direct matches both teams scored a 2.11 goals per match”.

The best of away results Lobi Stars has recorded this season was thier goalless graw against Kano Pillars and Katsina United. Hence the need for Kwara United to be cautious against their visitors.
