Osun Election: Ayu, Atiku, PDP governors storm Oshogbo for Adeleke

Ahead of Saturday’s Osun state Governorship Election, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, and the party leadership party will on Thursday, storm Oshogbo, the Ogun state capital, for a mega rally in support of its candidate, Sen. Ademola Adeleke.

Adeleke, will, once again, square against the incumbent Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola, on July 16.

Three siblings, four others killed by Lagos flood – NEMA

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said the flooding that occurred in Lagos State last weekend claimed seven lives.

South West coordinator of the agency, Ibrahim Farinloye, made the disclosure in a statement on Wednesday.

Two nabbed for picking pockets at Osun APC rally

Farmer killed, six suspects arrested over communal clash in Kwara communities

Kwara State police command has confirmed the arrest of six suspects in connection with the bloody communal clash between Iwo and Odo-Ekun communities in Isin Local Government Area of the State.

The communal clash which occurred on Monday, led to the death of an unidentified farmer, while one other person was seriously injured.
