Nigerian Army kill three terrorists, recover weapons in Kaduna

KADUNA, Nigeria, September 4 (The Informant247) – The Nigerian Army on Sunday revealed that its troops neutralized three bandits and recovered arms in Kaduna State.

The Director Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, has via a statement on Sunday, revealed that troops of 1 Division, Nigerian Army during operation clear the North West of banditry and terrorism.

The army spokesman said the troops killed three bandits and terrorists along Sabon Birni, Dogondawa-Kuyelo and Farin Ruwa communities in Kaduna State.

According to the army spokesman, the troops, while on a fighting patrol, had encounter with unconfirmed number of bandits and during a face off killed 3 of the terrorists.

He revealed that the items recovered include; two AK 47 rifles, nine magazines, seven Baofeng communication radios, one Tecno mobile phone, 120 rounds of 7.62 mm special ammunition, one power generator and a motorcycle.

The statement, however, implored all conscious citizens to continue to solidarize with the troops and other security agents with needed information that would be of assistance to the troops in their operations against the criminal elements.
