Niger Gov. Bello wins Niger North senate seat

Abubakar Bello, the Niger State Governor, has been declared winner of the Niger North senatorial seat by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the state.

Zacchaeus Kolo, the returning officer, while announcing the results, said that Bello polled 100,197 votes to defeat his closest rivals in PDP and NNPP, who both scored 88,158 and 13,886 votes respectively.
