New Year: KWEPA rejoices with Gov AbdulRazaq, seeks continued support for a clean environment
The Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA) has rejoiced with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on the commencement of the new year 2025.
Hajia Idayat Folohunsho, the Acting General Manager of the Agency, while congratulating the governor on Wednesday, described the just concluded year 2024 as a remarkable year in transforming the agenda of the governor to ensure a clean and healthy environment for all Kwarans.
The acting general manager, in a statement by Aliyu Jamiu Amode, the agency’s Press Secretary, said the AbdulRazaq-led administration’s drive to ensure a clean and green environment is worthy of commendation.

Hajia Folohunsho also commended the State Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Nafisat Buge’s effort to realise the administration’s agenda in protecting the environment.
The agency’s acting general manager equally thanked all relevant stakeholders who have supported the present administration in environmental protection in the just concluded year 2024, urging them to sustain their support.
She assured of agency’s continued collaboration with relevant stakeholders in sustaining the achievements of the present administration in the protection of the environment.
“As the year 2025 commences, I urge all stakeholders to sustain their cooperation with us. Let us do it again this new year for the betterment of all of us and the State in general because the issue of environmental protection requires collective efforts of all,” she added.
