Naira Scarcity: Gov El-Rufai dismisses rumour of demolition of bank in Kaduna

The Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai has dismissed the claim that he revoked the land of a bank in the state.

There were media reports on Monday that the Governor withdrew the bank’s license over its failure to obey the order to accept the old naira notes from the residents of the state.

Reacting, the Governor described the media report as a lie.

The Governor tweeted, “Cursed, congenital liars like you use social media anonymity every day to incite and acquire likes.

“May your evil intentions translate back into your life experiences now and forever.

“Why not show the pictures of the bank buildings and the bulldozers?”
