Mysterious death of 38-year-old man found in Kwara well sparks investigation
A 38-year-old man was found dead in a well in Ilorin, Kwara State, on Sunday, sparking an ongoing investigation into the mysterious circumstances surrounding his death.
The Informant247 gathered that the tragic discovery was made at around 8:23 AM on Aliara Street in the Manjasurawa area of Ilorin, as reported by Hassan Adekunle, the spokesperson for the Kwara State Fire Service.
According to Adekunle, “An unidentified man, estimated to be about 38 years old, was found drowned in a domestic well. The firemen promptly commenced their rescue operation and recovered the man dead. His body was handed over to DCO Olatunji of the Nigeria Police Force, Ganmo Division.”
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the incident to determine how the man ended up in the well.
