Mamman Daura not flown abroad for treatment – Buhari’s aide

Earlier this week, reports surfaced that Mamman Daura, who is a nephew and close confidant of President Muhammadu Buhari, was flown abroad for medical treatment.

But Personal Assistant on New Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad, has come out in clear terms debunking the story to that has been making waves on the internet.

Bashir, made the disclosure through his official twitter page, early Saturday, August 22nd.

“No iota of truth in the earlier story that Mallam Mamman Daura was flown to London for an emergency medical attention, he is hale and hearty, Nigerians should disregard that story.” he said.

It would be recalled that Daura’s son Mohammed, had earlier declared that the report was untrue.

He also insisted his father does not suffer renal problems or breathing difficulties.

“For the past couple of days, we have been forced to deny numerous times a completely fabricated story about our father’s well-being.” he added.
