LG Polls: Kwara Central Senator Saliu Mustapha congratulates, canvases support for APC Candidates
Ahead of the forthcoming local government polls in the state, Kwara Central Senator Saliu Mustapha has congratulated the chosen All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates, particularly those from his senatorial district.
He also canvassed for support for the party’s flag bearers from the people of Kwara State.
This was cantained in a congratulatory message personally signed by the Law Maker, yesterday, following the release of the official list of cleared candidates by the Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission (KWASIEC) on Tuesday.
Senator Mustapha commended the candidates for their dedication and commitment to the party’s ideals.
While appealing to all members of the party to rally behind the chosen candidates towards ensuring a resounding victory at the polls, Mustapha emphasized the need for the party to sustain the landslide success recorded in the 2023 general elections in the forthcoming local government polls.
The lawmaker, who is the Turaki of Ilorin also charged the electorate to participate actively in the democratic process by turning out in large numbers to support the APC candidates.
Senator Mustapha, therefore harped on the importance of unity and collaboration within the party, urging the chosen candidates to work diligently towards the development and progress of their respective local government areas.
