Labour Party’s Donatus Kozali defeats Kaduna APC Rep after 4 terms in office

The candidate for House of Representatives, Kaura Federal Constituency, Kaduna state, on the platform of the Labour Party, LP, Mr Mathew Donatus Kozali, has come victorious in the election.

He defeated Gideon Lucas Gwani, the Minority Whip of the House of Representatives.

Koazali gathered 10,508 votes while Gwani got 10,297 votes.

Gwani of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP was running for the seat for the 5th time.

The returning officer, Professor Elija D. Ella, while revealing the result at Kaura Local Government Secretariat in southern part of Kaduna state announced Mr. Mathew Donatus Kuzai the winner of the election while Professor Benjamin Kumai Gugong of the All Progressives Congress, APC came third with 9, 919 votes.
