KWASAA announces N100m revenue generation in 2024

The Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA) has announced that it has its target of N100 million in revenue generation for the year 2024 despite the challenges faced by the agency.

In a bid to improve revenue service, KWASAA said it is partnering with the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS) for its revenue generation in the 2025 fiscal year.

The Informant247 gathered that the General Manager of KWASAA, Al-Imam Ismail Asukuti, made this known during a meeting with the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service.

Asukuti, while appreciating the state governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for giving the agency a free hand to operate, said it is doing its best to ensure that the signage and outdoor industry is per best global practices for the benefit of the residents of the state.

Highlighting the challenges faced by the agency, the KWASAA boss seeks operational vehicles and computers to ease the agency’s operations and increase revenue generation for the State.

In his remarks, the Director of the Ministries Department and Agencies, at the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS), Mr Omotayo Ayinla expressed the readiness of KWIRS to partner with all agencies and parastatals to improve revenue generation of Kwara.

The meeting had in attendance the Secretary of KWASAA, Mallam Abdulrahman Kuranga Yero, the Head of Billing and Operations, Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar Gunu, and Mr Abayomi Ajiboso from KWIRS, among others.
