Kwara United FC players involved in Auto Crash

The Kwara United Football club were on Wednesday involved in a ghastly accident on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

THE INFORMANT247 gathered that the players were returning to Ilorin after participating in the just concluded NNL Super 4 tournament held in Lagos.

According to a press release by the football club, no life was lost in the accident but three of the traveling contingent suffered varying degrees of injuries and have since been taken to the hospital.

“Our bus, carrying team players and officials, was involved in an accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Express this morning, travelling back to Ilorin after the NNL Super 4.”

“We are glad to report that no life was lost in the accident, but three people got injured and are receiving proper treatments.”

“The three people injured are Alfred Stephen (player), Ijaya Lukman (welfare official) and a freelance cameraman.” The statement reads.
