Kwara schools shine at international science quiz
Two schools in Kwara State, Faith Academy Ilorin and Anglican School Esie, have emerged the first and first runner-up of an on-line STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) international science game and quiz education workshop.
The challenge, an initiative of United Kingdom based Creative Futures, was done in collaboration with Twin Science, YGA Global and Royal Academy of Engineering.
The pupils were awarded robotic kits and coding toys.
On her part, the Kwara State Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Ahmed Bisola Fatimah congratulated the participants adding that the state government will not relent in creating an enabling environment for sustainable development in quality education in line with global standards.
