Kwara riverine communities laud Gov AbdulRazaq over distribution of boat
No fewer than six riverine communities from Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara state have expressed profound gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for presenting the flying boats to the communities through the fourth disbursement by the State Fadama CARES.
The Informant247 reports that the representatives of the concerned communities, which include Ellah, Edozhigi, Gudugi, Mawogi, Esugi and Gbaradogi, comprising indigenes under the umbrella of Kyeadya Kintin Development Association gathered at the Office of the Kwara Fadama CARES, Ilorin, to appreciate AbdulRazaq-led state government for touching their lives empirically through easing their coastal engagements and improving their livelihoods as fishermen.
Engr. Dr Busari Toyin Isiaka, Project Coordinator, Kwara Fadama CARES, while playing host to the beneficiaries, said the gesture of intervention by the present administration is a practical stimulus to the people’s needs, noting that such measures were aimed at alleviating the challenges encountered in ferrying across coastal communities.
He added that AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s led administration truly deserves commendation for its resolve to key into the life-touching project of NG-CARES (Nigerian Covid-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus, now metamorphosing into “Nigerian Community Action Resilience and Economic Stimulus” ).
Busari disclosed that Governor AbdulRazaq is always ready to respond to the people’s needs, saying his policies are systematic ways of spreading wealth among citizens of the State.
The Coordinator, while reminding the beneficiaries of his office’s close monitoring of the assets, urged them to use the items judiciously.
On his part, the chairman doubled as the spokesperson of Kyeadya Kintin Development Association, Alhaji Ahmed Al-Hassan, while admitting to having received the commercial boats and their accessories, said the intervention would ease communities’ challenges, adding the communities involved would continue to praise the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s sense of appropriate intervention in the areas of people’s needs and necessities.
“With a deep sense of responsibility, the association wishes to express its heartfelt gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for not only aiming at improving the socio-economic activities of our riverine communities but also enhancing our general well-being.
“While wishing you continuous guidance and protection, we are looking forward to having more opportunities, especially for the upland members among us”, Al-Hassan stated.
