Kwara records lowest inflation rate in November – NBS
Kwara state has recorded the lowest food inflation rate in Nigeria on a Year-on-Year basis for the month of November, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has declared.
According to NBS’s latest Consumer Price Index and Inflation (CPI) report, the figures on a YoY basis for Kwara stand at 31.39%, Kogi (32.95%), and Rivers (32.27), respectively.

Meanwhile, Sokoto ( 51.30%), Yobe (46.69%), and Edo (47.77) had the highest rise in Nigeria.
The latest NBS report underscored Kwara’s progress in strengthening Agriculture practices and food security in the state, owing to the massive investment of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in supporting farmers with seedlings, fertilisers and other farm inputs for improved harvesting in the last year.
