Kwara Must Change lauds Hon. Ndakene over water projects

In a statement signed by the coordinator, Moro Local Government chapter of Kwara Must Change, Comrade Abdulmumin Babaeko Shafi, the civil society group has commended the efforts of the Member representing Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency, Hon. Ahmed Abubakar Ndakene for his commitment towards providing portable water supply across the local government.
The group during inspection of the repaired boreholes across various communities of the Local Government revealed that the execution of the project was done at the time it is mostly needed considering the harsh weather condition posing serious hazards to the people, leading to unavailability of water in various communities of the council.
KMC further noted that this kind of people centred project will miligate the harsh effects of traveling several miles by indigenes of the communities in search of water all through the winter.
The water projects by Hon. Ahmed Abubakar Ndakene in Moro Local council Includes:
1) Conversion of hand pump borehole to motorised borehole in JOKOLO-OYUN
2) Conversion of hand pump borehole to motorised borehole in LANWA 1
3) Rehabilitation of motorised borehole in ONIPAKO-JEBBA
4) Rehabilitation of borehole in SAJA VILLAGE
5) Conversion of hand pump borehole to motorised borehole in MAYA-OJA 2
6) Rehabilitation of motorised borehole in KABA VILLAGE
7) Rehabilitation of motorised borehole in SABO AREA(BODE SAADU)
8) Provision and Installation of water pipes for SHAO COMMUNITY
9) Rehabilitation of hand pump borehole in ALUO VILLAGE
10) Rehabilitation of hand pump borehole in OLOKONLA VILLAGE
11) Rehabilitation of hand pump borehole in OKOKO VILLAGE
12) Rehabilitation of hand pump borehole in KUKOLA VILLAGE ( OKITALA WARD)
