Kwara govt relaxes curfew in Offa, Erin-Ile
Kwara State Governor AbdulRazaq AbdulRahman on Tuesday relaxed the curfew imposed on Offa and Erin-Ile.
In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, the review of the curfew period which will be effective from Wednesday will now be between 8 pm and 6 am daily.
Recall the Governor on March 4 imposed a 6 pm to 8 am curfew on the two towns following renewed hostilities between some people from the two communities.
The Governor thereby appealed to leaders on both sides to continue to restrain and caution their people against provocative action.
Governor AbdulRazaq also urge people from the two communities to maintain peace, however, commended the security forces for the good job so far.
