Kwara govt promises transformation of architectural landscape for ease of doing business
In a bid to support Ease of Doing Business, the Kwara State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to providing several initiatives that would transform the architectural landscape of the State.
Represented by the Commissioner for Business, Innovation and Technology, Hon. Damilola Yusuf Adelodun, the Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, while reiterating government’s support to Manufacturer Association of Nigeria (MAN) and other sectors during the declaration ceremony of the 10th Annual General Meeting of Manufacturer Association of Nigeria, Kwara state chapter, appreciated the selfless efforts of the Association, while commending it for its contributions to the economic development of the State.
The Governor also highlighted some of the critical projects embarked on by this administration, which include Garment Factory; Sugar Factory and Firm Studio, which are about to be commissioned; Information Technology Hub, which is ongoing; Ilorin International Conference Centre, which is almost completed; renovation of Kwara Hotel is also ongoing; among others.
The governor also noted that the policy is designed to create a business-friendly environment for Ease of Doing Business to thrive and become robust while saying that Kwara State Social Investments Programme (KWASSIP) provides opportunities for small business owners to access resources and support from the State thereby fostering entrepreneurship and economic growth at the grassroot level.
Governor AbdulRazaq commended the former Chairman, MAN, Pharmacist Abdulrahman Bioku FSPN, for his exceptional leadership and dedication to serving the Association. He congratulated the new Chairman for the continued collaboration with the State Government.
Also speaking, the National President, Manufacturer Association of Nigeria, Otunba Francis Meshioye OFR, thanked Governor AbdulRazaq for creating an enabling environment for Ease of Doing Business in Kwara State, soliciting continued support for members of the Association in the State
