Kora-Sabi also highlighted the importance of adhering to safety protocols while traveling, noting that while roads provide essential access for livelihoods, they also carry inherent risks.

He praised Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his commitment to protecting citizens and for initiatives such as the newly launched CNG buses aimed at mitigating economic challenges within the state.

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Salau Abdullahi, explained that inspections were conducted across all garages in the city, leading to the selection of these 12 motor parks based on their adherence to standards for safety and cleanliness.

Engr. Michael Bamidele, the Director of Transport, added that only 12 out of the 49 existing motor parks met the necessary regulatory requirements for recertification, underscoring the ongoing commitment to ensure a safe working environment.

Abdulganiyu Omoola, the CEO of KASMAG Line, represented the certified operators and expressed gratitude towards the government for this initiative, pledging their support for efforts to enhance public safety.
