Kwara Gov approves cash-backing of Tescom staff promotion

The cash backing of the year 2022 promotion for the staff of Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has been approved by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, with immediate effect.

Mallam Bello Tauheed Abubakar, the Chairman of the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission, made this known on Monday in Ilorin while addressing the management staff of the commission in his office.

Mallam Bello affirmed that the approval is another testimony to Governor AbdulRazaq’s commitment to improving the welfare of teachers in the State, saying the governor, upon his assumption of office in 2019, had cash-backed the promotions for the years 2015, 2016, 2017 and has since cash backed the promotions to 2021.

The Chairman assured the the commission’s staff that the current administration will ensure that all promotions are cash-backed as when due.

While appreciating Governor AbdulRazaq’s massive investment in teacher’s welfare, Bello assured him of the commission’s support and dedication to work at all times, promising to justify their pay with hard work.
