Kwara Gov AbdulRazaq commiserates with ex-Gov Saraki over mother’s death
AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Kwara State Governor, on Wednesday condoled with the former senate president, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki and his family over the demise of their matriarch, Chief (Mrs) Florence Morenike Saraki, who passed on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
The Informant247 reports that Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, former Senate President, on Tuesday evening, announced the passing of his mother, Chief Florence Saraki.
Saraki, in a statement issued, said, “With profound sadness and total submission to the will of Almighty God, I announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and matriarch, Chief Mrs Florence Morenike Saraki, who peacefully transitioned today, Tuesday, June 18th, 2024.
The governor, in a statement by his spokesperson, Rafiu Ajakaye, particularly commiserates with the former Kwara State Governor Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Senator Gbemisola Saraki, Mr Olaolu Saraki, and the rest of the family over the sad development.
The Governor urges the Saraki family to be consoled by the fine legacies of their matriarch while praying to God to repose the soul of the deceased and uphold the family.
