Kwara court remands three herdsmen over alleged murder

A Kwara State magistrate court has remanded three herders who allegedly matchetted a twenty-year-old Shuaibu to death in Kaima Local Government Area of the State.

The suspects; Yunisa AbdulKareem, Lawal Ali and lliasu Ali, allegedly set ablaze the deceased motorcycle after killing him and hid his corpse in the bush.

THE INFORMANT247 correspondent reports that the prosecutor, Isah Abubakar, urged the court to remand the suspects for lack of jurisdiction to try the matter.

He said the offences allegedly committed by the suspects is not ordinarily bailable.

Magistrate Hafisat Alege, who presided over the matter, ceded to the submission of the prosecutor and ordered the remand of the suspects in Mandala correctional Service centre while the matter was adjourned to 27th of this month.
