Kwara Commissioner demands quality job on waterworks rehabilitation project
The Kwara State Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Usman Yunusa Lade has called on DELKO International Nigeria Ltd. to heighten their efforts on the ongoing waterworks rehabilitation project in Omu-Aran. This appeal was made during his recent on-the-spot assessment of the project site.
Expressing his contentment with the progress made thus far, Hon. Lade stated, “Yes, I am happy with the level of work carried out so far, and I will also like you to deliver a diligent job that the State Government will be proud of.” He emphasized the necessity for the company to adhere strictly to the contract specifications.
In his response, Engr. Kola Aransiola, the engineer overseeing the project, reassured the Commissioner that DELKO International is committed to fulfilling the expectations placed upon them. He noted that the correct materials will be utilized to ensure the project’s durability.
Accompanying the Commissioner, Dr. Hakeem Olawale, the Ministry’s Consultant, highlighted the importance of regular inspections. He affirmed that all aspects of the project specified in the contract agreement will be executed with diligence and precision, ensuring that quality standards are met.
