Kwara Assembly postpones resumption

The Kwara State House of Assembly has postponed the scheduled resumption of lawmakers from September 14 to September 16.

This was contained in a communique issued by Kareem A. Olayiwola on behalf of the Clerk, over the weekend.

However, no reason was given for the postponement.

The statement read, “This is to inform the General Public that the Kwara State House of Assembly will reconvene for Plenary on Thursday, 16th September, 2021, at 10 : O’ Clock in the morning instead of Tuesday, 14th September, 2021 as earlier adjourned.

“Members of the Public are to therefore take note of the new date.”
