Kwara Assembly confirms Remi Suleiman as LG Auditor General

Mrs Ramat Remi Suleiman has been confirmed as the Auditor General for Local Government.

The state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, had in a letter on July 28, urged the Assembly to approve the nomination of Suleiman as the LG Auditor General.

A statement by the media department of the legislative body, on Thursday, read, “After the screening, the Honourable House devolved into Committee of Whole and confirmed the Nominee as Auditor General for Local Government.

“The Rt. Hon. Speaker directed the Clerk of the House to forward the Confirmation to the to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.”
