Killers are plotting to divide Nigeria – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned “the senseless loss of lives” in Borno and Katsina States.

The spokesperson of the president, Mallam Garba Shehu has via a statement, said the president holds the victims of the attacks in thoughts and prayers.

The president noted that killings in the country are some people’s attempts to divide the country and cause hate among the people.

Buhari however gave the people an assurance that those behind the series of attacks across the federation would be brought to book.

“Nigerians must come together, in proud defiance of those who would seek through terror and violence to divide us along religious, political or ethnic lines”, Shehu noted.
