Job racketeering: My signature was forged, says FCC chair Dankaka
Muheeba Dankaka, the Chairman, Federal Character Commission (FCC), has alleged that her signature was forged to perpetrate the alleged sale of federal employment opportunities.
Dankaka, who has been in the eye of the storm following allegations of job racketeering levelled against her, appeared before the House investigative committee again on Monday, claiming that some people, including one named Haruna Kolo, forged her signature to recruit staff and also enrolled them on the IPPIS platform.
She said, “The letter that went out, they forged my signature.”
However, at the end of the hearing, Yusuf Gagdi, the chairman of the committee, summoned the Accountant General of the Federation, past chairmen of FCC, the Director General of AMCON, as well as Mr Kolo Haruna, to appear before the panel in subsequent hearings.
Gagdi said that the EFCC would take over the allegation of forgery and other criminal allegations.
