JAMB directs UTME candidates to re-upload WAEC results
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that all candidates who uploaded their O-level results before the official release of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results must return to accredited centers to re-upload their credentials.
In its weekly news bulletin released on Monday, JAMB clarified that it has cleared all previously uploaded results from its system. This measure aims to prevent discrepancies and to ensure that only the official final results issued by WAEC are considered for admission processing.
JAMB noted, “Some candidates who sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with ‘awaiting results’ had prematurely uploaded incomplete WAEC records before the final release.”
“To address the issue, JAMB has mandated a fresh upload for every candidate, irrespective of whether the new results differ from those uploaded earlier.”
The Board emphasized, “All UTME candidates are advised to urgently re-upload their 2025 SSCE results on the JAMB portal to remain eligible for admission consideration,” as stated in the bulletin.
